Our story

WD Studio was founded in 2007 by 3 co-founders with a clear mission: build a company that delivers world-class software from Georgia. From a small office in Vake we have grown into a 50+ person team with offices in Tbilisi and Batumi.

Over the past 18 years we have delivered 500+ projects — from core banking systems to IoT analytics, government portals to AI-powered applications.

Our mission is to set a standard for Georgia's IT scene that competes with Western markets.

From 2007 to 2024 — how we grew.

  1. 2007

    Founded

    3 founders, small office in Vake, first web app for a local retailer.

  2. 2011

    First Enterprise Client

    Deployment of TBC Bank internal CRM system — team grew to 12.

  3. 2015

    Mobile Division

    iOS/Android division launched, first App Store feature.

  4. 2018

    AI Lab

    AI/ML team formed in partnership with TSU, NLP solutions for Georgian language.

  5. 2021

    Cloud Expertise

    AWS Advanced Partner status, full Kubernetes migration.
